A typical soccer tour consists of one training session on a football pitch near your hotel or campsite. This is usually a 2 hour morning session to acclimatize the players to the heat and the playing surface.
We offer 2 or 3 games. Two games against local opposition and one against another visiting team. Matches are played in the evening or late afternoon, leaving the day free for other activities.
The games are 1 hour long, with rolling subs so everybody gets time to play. Referees are officials from the Spanish Referee Federation.
In the case of a player being sent off, another player is allowed to take his or her place.
Matches are played against local clubs. The fixtures are usually not more than a 45-minute coach ride away, with the local clubs acting as hosts. Matches between English schools are played on pitches 10 minutes from their accommodation, unless they are staying in different resorts.
Schools and clubs should apply to their relative associations for permission to play abroad. This ensures that the matches are regarded as official by both countries.
We recommend that you bring a pennant or other souvenir of your club to give to the opposition.
